hms is looking for two delivery drivers.

• Full-time position: Working an average of 35-40 hours per week, up to 12 hours in a day, between Tuesday and Friday.
• Part-time position: Working an average of 25-30 hours per week, up to 12 hours in a day, between Tuesday and Friday.

You will regularly interact with customers and are responsible for ensuring that their orders arrive on time and are delivered in a safe and professional manner. 

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing, loading and unloading packages from company supplied, refrigerated van.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company.
• Providing excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Communicate and delivery issues or delays in a timely manner.

Details:

• 6:30am start times with 8 - 12 hour shifts.
• The warehouse is based out of North Kelowna/Lake Country area and delivery area varies throughout the region including Grand Forks, Kamloops and Revelstoke.
• 4% vacation paid bi-weekly.
• Starting hourly wage is $23.00

Minimum Requirements include:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50lbs, on a regular basis.
• Ability to manage time effectively under tight timelines.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal, with customers and team members.
• Reside in the Kelowna/Lake Country area with own personal vehicle for transportation to the hms warehouse as it is not located near a bus route.
